Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Harvist.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Harvist.ai is an AI-powered tool that extracts, summarizes, and structures data from URLs, PDFs, and videos, then writes the results to your Notion databases. The Service uses third-party APIs for data extraction (Apify), AI processing (OpenAI), and storage (Notion).

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits and Usage

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Each template run consumes credits as specified on the pricing page. Monthly credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

We reserve the right to modify credit costs, quotas, and plan features with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to scrape websites in violation of their terms of service or robots.txt directives
  • Submit URLs containing illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or credit restrictions
  • Use the Service to compete with or reverse-engineer Harvist.ai
  • Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

6. Notion Integration

By connecting your Notion workspace, you authorize Harvist.ai to read and write to the pages and databases you select. You can disconnect your workspace at any time through the Settings page.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permissions to write data to the Notion workspaces you connect.

7. Content and Data

The URLs you submit and the data extracted from them are processed by third-party services (Apify, OpenAI) and written to your Notion workspace. We do not claim ownership of your data or the content you process through the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the content at the URLs you submit. AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies — you should review results before relying on them.

8. Availability and Limitations

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party APIs (Notion, Apify, OpenAI) which may experience downtime or changes outside our control.

Extraction results depend on the structure and accessibility of the source content. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of extracted data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harvist.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate AI outputs, or third-party service failures.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
