Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Harvist.ai ("we", "our", "us") operates the https://staging.harvist.ai website and the Harvist.ai service. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Notion Integration

When you connect a Notion workspace, we store an encrypted access token to interact with your Notion account on your behalf. We only access the pages and databases you explicitly authorize.

Usage Data

We record template runs, credit usage, and job statuses to provide the service and display your run history. We do not store the full content extracted from URLs — it is processed and written directly to your Notion workspace.

URLs You Submit

When you run a template, you provide URLs to be processed. These URLs are sent to third-party services (see Section 5) for data extraction and are stored in your job history.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Harvist.ai service
  • To process your template runs and write results to your Notion workspace
  • To track your credit balance and usage
  • To send service-related communications (e.g. account confirmations)
  • To respond to support requests

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Notion access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide Harvist.ai:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Notion API — writing results to your Notion workspace (authorized by you)
  • Apify — web data extraction from URLs you submit
  • OpenAI — AI processing of extracted content (summarization, structuring)
  • Trigger.dev — background job processing

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your account data through the Settings page
  • Disconnect Notion workspaces at any time
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact
